Why you should believe this |
Here is some background... I'm 28 years old as I write this in 2001. Despite eating a "healthy" low fat, high carbohydrate diet, I spent the majority of my life heavily overweight, hitting 300 lbs in college (6'4" tall). I have high blood sugar. I've had 3 knee surgeries and I have a screw in my knee. I've had nosebleeds regularly since I was a child. I was on some form of broad-spectrum antibiotic for the majority of the time between 1985 and 1997 to deal with recurring chronic sinusitis and strep throat. In one semester of college in 1993, I spent $1000 on antibiotics to stop sinus infections. My joints hurt most of my life. My energy level was very low and I basically felt like crap all the time. I was also prone to occasional outbursts of anger, but not anything too strange. I grew up with asthma and horrible seasonal allergies affecting my lungs and skin. |
Today I weigh 235 pounds (ok, 240). I still have high blood sugar but it's falling. My joints haven't hurt once in 4 years. My nose doesn't bleed any more. I don't take antibiotics but my chronic sinusitis is cured (without the surgery the doctor recommended). I have more energy than I can imagine (look at www.asprey.net home page if you don't believe that...). I haven't been angry about anything in a very long time. I don't have seasonal or skin allergies anymore. I feel good most of the time and I don't have the fuzzy feeling I used to have in my head. This web site will explain how I did all of this and more,
without help from doctors. |
