Learning

I believe that when you stop learning, you start dying. I want to work with people I can learn from, and I want to share what I've learned with others.

I was one of the first people to earn a Web & Systems Engineering Certification from the University of California at Santa Cruz Extension, at which point I took over the program. I created and ran their E-commerce Engineering program for 2 years. I helped create their Security Certification program as well.

I am also completing my MBA at Wharton. Wharton has a program for executives in San Francisco, which concentrates the classes into 2 working days per month and two Saturdays. The program has helped to round out my real-world experience and to give me a better view into how tech and non-tech industries interact.

I suspect most of my learning from here on out will come from teaching, but I haven't ruled out another degree or certification program.
